I don't have time to read books more than when I was an office worker.
Especially in 2022. I haven't read many books.
But there is a secret hidden here.
The work I like, the work I am good at, the work I can do for the rest of my life, the work I can make use of my own nature and temperament are hidden somewhere here.
Says “I haven’t read many books”.
Someone will interpret it as "I haven't read a single book." Another might say, "I've only read a book or two."
The books I read in 2022 are about 30 books. Just a guess, maybe a little less. Or maybe there are more.
I read about 10 humanities books from beginning to end. There are about 10 business books. The rest are practical books, self-help books, and essays.
Most of the books are in Korean, but there are a few original books among them.
I bought about 10 books, borrowed about 10 books, and read the rest through Kyobo Bookstore's subscription type e-books.
Speaking of which, I might have read about 50 books in the past year.
When I say “I haven’t been able to exercise much,” I mean that I haven’t been exercising at all.
When I say “I haven’t traveled much,” I mean that I haven’t visited any other cities other than Gangwon-do.
When I say “I haven’t seen many movies,” I mean I have never been to the theater.
However, saying that I haven't read many books means "I've only read 30 books." There is also a similar phrase, “I couldn’t write much.” To me, this means “I haven’t been able to write every day,” which is a completely different result than someone who has never written at all.

I feel special about books. I realized that belatedly. The more I found out that other people weren't thrilled with books, the clearer I was about where I was going.
It means a lot if I have high expectations unlike others.. There is a path that each person has to walk on the edge. There are no signs on the road. Finding the path that is waiting to be discovered by you is our most important goal in life.
