What I Learned in 3 Weeks Without a Plan (To-do list)

I haven't made a weekly plan for the past 3 weeks. There was a bit of intention, and there was also no time to cut out the crazy things that were happening.

I didn't make a plan, but it had such a good effect

lighthearted

Mainly because there is so much to do I built myself because of the goal I don't have a detailed plan, so I don't know if I've completed today's tasks or not. Anyway, I felt comfortable. at that moment.

free from time

For the reasons above, it takes some time. I have some spare time. But what do you do with this free time, that is the question. I tended to waste time to the point that I didn't even remember what I was doing. Anyway, time was free. then.

made a creative

My heart is light and I have time, so I have time to scribble in my notebook. It is the time of 'planning' that was missed in the past. Thanks to this, I was able to quickly try creative and new things that I hadn't planned. Here's what I've tried in 3 weeks: These are all unplanned events.

focused on inertial work

I was able to focus on business (economic activities). I worked 14 hours a day. This is what the company needs.

On the other hand, there were also bad points.

decreased productivity

Productivity has significantly deteriorated. If you used to be able to extract 100 per week, a week without a plan showed about 50 productivity. This is a counting criterion.

did not write

As I focused on what I could see right in front of me at that time, I neglected things that were long-term and strategic, but that made real changes in my life and filled it with meaning. That's what writing is. Whenever I made a plan, I always put in writing, and I always wrote it even when I was tired. However, the articles I wrote during the three weeks were almost all of the newsletters that were mandatory.

didn't go for a walk

Walking was one of my weekend rituals. While taking a walk, I organized my thoughts and found peace of mind. On weekends, instead of reviewing 'what I have to do', I lie down and watch TV. My back was swollen and my head was thick. But time went well.

became lethargic

Since I lived mainly on things that came to my mind at the time, I often drank and slept in whenever I felt like it. I focused on my company work, but looking back The feeling of déjà vu I felt three years agoit hit me Feeling as if you are living someone else's life...

Conclusions I Learned

Planning is essential. However, you should leave a lot of white space. It also appears in the military command system manual. When preparing for an operation, time of 70% or more must be allocated to subordinate units. Trying to control all the time is foolish. Various attempts and creativity in life sprout in the gaps of blank space.

Self-control is key. If you know where you are headed, don't stop dreaming and make it a reality. Self-control is the decisive driving force in this process. Self-control requires a balance between duty and autonomy. And the best way to give yourself healthy obligations is through planning. Otherwise, it's too good to waste time.

While most people pass the time like that, People who control themselves ignite their artistic spirit and demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit to achieve unprecedented achievements or to make their lives shine with rich meaning.
