청솔모의 죽음과 아들에 대한 단상
2020년 3월에 작성한 글을 다시 옮깁니다. 아침에 원고작업을 하다가 그만두었다. 아이들이 울듯이 뛰어와 앞마당에 청솔모가 누워있다고 고래고래 소리를 질렀다. 지금 그놈을 묻어주고 오는 길이다. 생명과 죽음을 논하는 것에 비하면 원고를 쓰는 것은 아주 사소해보인다. 10분 전까지만 해도 세상에서 가장 심각한 일이었다. 죽음이란 이렇게 삶을 각성시킨다. 청솔모가 낙엽 위에 옆으로 누워있었다. 눈은 졸린듯 반쯤 감고 있다.
